Contributing to the Tunnelblick ProjectTunnelblick is developed and maintained entirely by volunteers. It is Free Software that puts its users first. There are no ads, no affiliate marketers, no tracking — we don't even keep logs of your IP address or other information. We just supply open technology for fast, easy, private, and secure control of VPNs. We do not accept donations of money, but there are many other ways you can contribute to the Tunnelblick project:
Testing and Reporting Problems or Suggesting ImprovementsOur goal is to make Tunnelblick bug free and easy to use, but we need help doing that. Any Tunnelblick user can help with this! We prefer that you report problems and suggest improvements on the Tunnelblick Discussion Group, but you can use GitHub Issues or contact the developers directly if you consider it more appropriate. Please read this before you send in a problem report. Although it is primarily aimed at problems connecting a VPN, the diagnostic information you gather is useful when investigating other problems, too. Improving TranslationsTunnelblick is available in more than thirty languages but not all languages have complete translations. If you are familiar with one of our incompletely-translated languages we really need your help, but we also would love to get help verifying and improving our existing translations in all of our languages. See Localizing and Translating Tunnelblick for details. Answering questions on the Tunnelblick Discussion GroupThe developers try to answer questions raised on the Tunnelblick Discussion Group, but if you can answer a question, please do so and free us up to work on improving Tunnelblick. Helping Develop TunnelblickIf you are an experienced Mac application developer or network expert, or are experienced in image creation and manipulation, you can help us develop Tunnelblick. Contact the developers to offer your services. Telling Us How You Use TunnelblickBecause we don't collect usage statistics (see Tunnelblick Privacy), we don't get information about how people use Tunnelblick. You can help by sharing your experiences on the Tunnelblick Discussion Group. |
